Robin and I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Air India’s newly designed A350 business class on a flight from Newark (EWR) to Delhi (DEL). Having heard so much about the December 2024 launch of this aircraft, we were both eager to see if it lived up to the hype – and it absolutely did. From the moment we stepped on board, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of refined comfort and attentive service. It made the long journey feel significantly more enjoyable.
The Seat: The new business class cabin is stunning, featuring spacious suites with lie-flat beds, perfect for couples traveling together. It’s clear a lot of thought went into the design. The seats are thoughtfully designed with ample storage, a large, crisp personal entertainment screen, and noise-canceling headphones. The added privacy of the suite design was a definite plus, but still allowed us to easily chat and share the experience.
Entertainment: The in-flight entertainment system offered a wide range of movies, TV shows, and music, ensuring that there was something for everyone. The larger screens and updated interface on the new A350 made a noticeable difference.

The combination of luxurious amenities, impeccable service, and a comfortable environment made for a relaxing and enjoyable flight. Knowing this aircraft only entered service in December 2024 made the experience feel even more special. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone seeking a premium travel experience, especially couples looking to travel in comfort and style.
