Auckland is a vibrant city, full of stunning sights, but during my visit last week I discovered something truly unique: the Kiwi Art Trail! These larger-than-life kiwi sculptures, each one a unique work of art, are dotted throughout the city. It’s like a treasure hunt, stumbling upon these colorful creations as you explore.

I’d seen photos of the sculptures online, but let me tell you, they don’t do them justice. Seeing them in person is a completely different experience. The sheer size and detail of each kiwi is incredible. You can really appreciate the creativity and skill of the artists who transformed these iconic birds into works of art.

Not only are these sculptures a feast for the eyes, but they’re also for a good cause. Later this year, these amazing kiwi will be auctioned off, with all proceeds going towards kiwi preservation efforts. It’s a fantastic way to support the protection of our national bird while enjoying some incredible public art.
